I feel so tired that I am swaying in my chair a little. But I have to go to work. A. We need the money to pay for our medical bills, B there is no one to cover for me tonight. What am I gonna do, call out tired? I feel ok to drive, but I also feel like I could nap for hours. I think in the interest of making it to work, I am going to have a second cup of coffee. If I am not pg, it won't hurt, and if I am well- crashing the car would be worse.
I wonder if people use progesterone for recreational purposes? Last night I slept from midnight till 10 30 a.m.
I talked to my nurse about it yesterday and she said to sleep as much as possible and that my body would get used to it. She offered the one you shove up your cookie as a replacement and said it has less side effects but costs more. How much more? The progesterone was about 40 dollars. Mister said I could switch but I am not too thrilled by the idea of peanut panties.
Plus I am crying every day over like tv commercials and songs on the radio. Is that from the leftover hcg or the progesterone, or is being tired making my depression a little harder to control or what?
My sister told me she really needs a break from Mom. And she is right. Mom needs to come stay for like a month but I have no idea how I could do that. Mom is pretty high maintenance.
What a whiny post. I think it is another Tastykake kind of day.
In which we're talking about holiday music

You're post hits home today big time. There is a red impression on my forehead from plopping it down on my desk. Have the second cup! This either will or will not, but it won't have anything to do with an extra cup of coffee. Today may be a DCL day for me.
Are you taking prometrium pills? Because they can be used vaginally, and they are far less expensive than crinone (the gel) and endometrin (a special new dissolving pill form of progesterone).
If I were you, I would definitely try the vaginal kind since you are so tired.
This is what I found from the ASRM website:
Vaginal progesterone bypasses the initial metabolism in the liver and is therefore not associated with the sedating metabolites, which occur with oral preparations. Because the progesterone is first absorbed locally, intrauterine concentrations are high despite serum levels that are lower than with IM progesterone.
The crying is probably from a combination of all the hormones. Did you get an hcg booster?
Hey, Celia. I'm on the vag toothpaste and it's about $30 a month. It made me super sleepy and depressed right when I started it after ovualtion too. It sucks. I have depression problems as well and I don't think that prog and depression are friends. You can do it. Enjoy the coffee...it may be your last, lol.
i am on prometrium, it is a pill but i use it like a suppository, i'm not going to lie, it totally sucks to have it dripping out all day, but i don't have any of the side effects you're talking about either. my copay for a months supply is $35 and it think it's like $100 or so w/o insurance.
Peanut panties....*giggles*. Love it. I did the suppositories...not that bad if I do say. I'd do anything to get out of daily butt shots though.
I did get the hcg booster. I was so tired driving home from work tonight that I had to stop for a snack because everything was wavy on the edges.
I am so glad that next month we will either be knocked up or on a break.
I've been avoiding blogs for a while, but I just had to come back to yours....
Good luck lady. My fingers are crossed that your lovely lining is being used for something more useful than pad filler.
I've been so sleepy, too! I had the hcg but not progesterone.
My Mom doesn't like the town my folks just moved to so she stays with us several days a week. I kinda like it now - she does the laundry and feeds DH. :)
peanut panties ... ew
Uh yeah, I remember the crying at every single thing. Oh boy, not fun. Let's hope you're pregnant so you don't have to go through this again!
